He started his seasonal business from his home 8 years ago, and hasnt looked back. He credits part of his success to the level of exposure provided by the Annual Spring Trade Show.

The business is owned by both Lowing and Forrest Krause. The business is only open for five months of the year, and provides a variety of services for its customers, including boat maintenance and repairs, sales and service of outboard motors, inflatable boat sales, as well as selling all kinds of accessories for the avid boatsman.

Part of his success is due in part to the limited supply of overhead. He likes running a business out of his home because it affords him a flexible schedule and a comfortable environment. With no children at home, other than visiting grandchildren, he feels there is no impact on his family life.
